Ethiopia, September 2019 | In August 2019, GIZ started a new phase of its Biodiversity and Forestry Programme, which was initiated in 2015. Organisation and team had to be restructured with the aim of improving internal communication and efficiency. To that end, an employee pulse survey and feedback events have been designed and implemented, including a teambuilding workshop. hr international also made proposals to strengthen the organisational structure, along with reporting lines and job descriptions and created a joint analysis of challenges, potentials and developmental needs as part of individual coaching sessions for employees of the senior management team.

Strategic Development Plan for the Water Sector in Dominica – Human Resources Management

Dominica, September 2019 – April 2021 | As part of a strategic water sector development plan in Dominica, hr international has worked on strengthening DOWASCO’s HR management and organisational development, including the development and implementation of an employee pulse survey, feedback workshops with a total participation of 63% of all staff, creation of a catalogue of measures with short, medium and long-term activities to improve employee loyalty and motivation, the implementation of concrete measures to professionalise the HR area and a proposal for a DOWASCO target organisation. DOWASCO is the Dominica Water and Sewerage Company Ltd.
